We love hosting parties at Play Street Museum Upper West Side! To give you and your guests the ultimate VIP experience, every reservation includes an exclusive, private museum takeover. Instead of a rushed party, our signature format features a full 2-hour or 3-hour private celebration, allowing your guests to enjoy the entire space completely to themselves.

• An Unrushed Experience:  Up to a full 3 hours of private access means children can imagine, explore, and engage with our interactive exhibits at their own perfect pace. You can enjoy open play, food, and cake without ever feeling hurried or ushered out.

• Time for Grown-Ups to Socialize: Parents get a rare chance to sit back, relax, and actually catch up with friends and family while the kids play safely in an exclusive, secure environment.

• More Room for Fun Add-ons: Plenty of time to seamlessly add on hands-on activities like Slime, Canvas Painting, or Pottery Painting without ever cutting into playtime or cake cutting.

Each booking includes a generous 3 hours of celebration time, plus 30 minutes of early access for effortless setup with our team's hands-on assistance. ULTIMATE PRIVATE PARTY/PRIVATE EVENT EXPERIENCES have custom flows built for you.

Your child's special day only happens once a year; let's make it stress-free and unforgettable! We have party options for everyone, from “DIY” to our concierge-level “Sit Back & Relax.”


Look at our party options and themes for the Sit Back & Relax option. Additional notes:

• Each event is 3 hours + 30 minutes before set up with the help of our team.
• You can add Slime, Canvas Painting, Pottery Painting, or Dip Dye to any party.
• The party price includes 16 children ages 1-12 and 32 adults. There is an additional cost per child and per adult over this amount.
• If you choose to go over the maximum guest count there is a $500 large party fee that will be added to your final party balance. No exceptions. Our maximum capacity for child seating in our party room is 34 children
• Deposits for parties or private events are non-refundable once booked. No exceptions. Deposits are applied to the total balance on the day of the party.
• All guests under the age of 18 are required to have a parent/guardian complete a waiver.

Note: We cannot hold dates without a reservation and deposit. Play Street a nut-free and a shoe-free facility. Socks are required for children and adults. Please remember to wear or bring socks with you to your play session. We recommend socks with grip soles at Play Street. Socks are available for purchase for $3.
